Offset printing is where the inked image is transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket; from here it is then transferred on to the printing surface.

When used in unison with lithography, the offset technique uses a flat image carrier that obtains ink and water from the rollers. The water will be attracted to the non-printed areas whilst the ink will cover the rest of the image.

Here at lapel pin industry,normally it applys with stainless steel metal,the procedure is firstly we make set up of prints,then print on a big stainless steel metal plate per the shape of pin,then stamp the pin into shape per desgin.

Then after weld with nails,it will go into epoxy dome process. After epoxy dome,a stainless steel offset print pin is ready.

This is even more economic than enamel pin and good options for gradiant colors or carton figures or colors and details can not be applied by enamel process.

Also it’s a process that could take shortest time to produce and normally it’s applied with epoxy dome together to ensure prints is protected and durable.
